A non-profit organization is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant supporting the Finance Team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's Degree, CPA preferred; Government, not-for-profit and/or medical billing accounting a plus; impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail; strong grammar and writing skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; ability to work under pressure with competing priorities, maintain confidentiality; professional demeanor; experience working with a Board of Directors a plus; available to work extended hours when necessary.
Salary $60,000-$75,000 depending on experience, education and credentials. Benefits include: 10 days paid vacation and 5 days paid sick leave the first year (both vacation and sick leave can be accrued indefinitely); Agency contributions to individual staffs' 403b account paid twice per year (following 6 months' employment) at a percentage rate approved by the Board of Directors; 12 paid holidays per year; health, vision and dental benefits (Agency pays 80% of the premium); long term disability and AD&D insurance; reimbursement for licensure; continuing education assistance; use of company vehicle for business purposes; free parking. Benefits are subject to change based on annual budget and Board of Directors' approval.
