As a Marketing Communications Intern for a global manufacturing company, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our digital presence and supporting our team with various marketing activities. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including social media management, email coordination, website updates, and general administrative support. We are looking for someone who embodies professionalism and upholds our values while helping us achieve our goals.

This is an in-person position located in our corporate headquarters in Ferndale, WA.


Who You Are:

  • Knowledgeable of basic digital marketing principles.
  • A clear and concise communicator with a strong attention to detail.
  • A proficient computer user who is experienced with Microsoft Office and able to learn new programs.
  • Able to build relationships within all levels of a diverse organization.
  • Customer focused and able to deliver excellent customer service to both customers and colleagues.
  • Comfortable with office procedures and general office equipment.
  • Able to organize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Able to handle confidential and sensitive information.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with social media to include management of social media calendar, monitoring, and post scheduling.
  • Assist with monitoring two marketing email inboxes forwarding relevant questions and updating customer database as appropriate.
  • Assist in updating the company website as needed.
  • Assist with projects or other MarCom administrative duties as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local laws related to job duties.

What You Should Have:

Education

  • Required: High school diploma and currently enrolled in a secondary level or degree program.

Experience

  • Some experience working on a team and helping others. Prior work experience in an office is preferred.

Compensation:

Targeted hiring range: $18.00 – 20.00 per hour.

Hiring rate will depend on qualifications and experience.


Samson has established wage scales for all of our positions, which are based on a minimum and maximum.
