As a Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Summer Intern at Ajinomoto Foods North America, you will support category and channel-focused initiatives to drive revenue growth and profitability. You will help conduct RGM analyses and collaborate with commercial teams to optimize demand shaping, sales forecasting, and trade spend decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and effective communication abilities. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, proactive, and interested in revenue management or related fields.
Responsibilities
RGM Strategic Support: Assist in executing RGM strategies by analyzing market trends, customer demand, and competitive dynamics to help develop recommendations.
Forecasting & Demand Shaping: Assist in analyzing sales forecast variances and contribute to demand shaping proposals; support reporting efforts for internal stakeholders
Pricing Insights: Support pricing analysis through scenario modeling, elasticity studies, and competitive benchmarking to help inform pricing recommendations.
Trade Promotion Support: Assist in analyzing promotional effectiveness, support trade promotion planning, and help evaluate trade performance.
Performance Tracking: Help maintain dashboards and reports to track key RGM performance metrics, including pricing, sales trends, and profitability.
Competitive Intelligence: Research and compile competitor pricing and market positioning insights to support strategic planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities where analytics can drive business solutions.
WHAT YOU’LL GAIN:
Hands-on experience in pricing strategies and market analysis in the Consumer Product Goods Industry (CPG).
Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools like Power BI.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams and exposure to industry insights.
Practical experience in data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
Must be enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analysis or related fields. (Graduation Date of 2026 or later)
Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 3.0 or higher
Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
Strong desire to learn relevant industry skills.
Team player with good communication skills
Pay Range $26.00 - $32.00
