Job Description:

An SF and Palo Alto based firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join their dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, providing administrative and legal support to attorneys. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Must have prior experience in a legal offiice setting to apply!



Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.

  • Conduct legal research and compile relevant information.

  • Manage case files, maintain records, and ensure proper document organization.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances.

  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court officials professionally.

  • Proofread and edit legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.

  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, billing, and data entry.




Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant.

  • Associate degree or certification in Paralegal Studies preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.

  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
