Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Forensic Architect with a strong background in construction defect analysis to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively. This role involves conducting thorough investigations, analyzing construction defects, and providing expert testimony in legal proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed investigations of construction defects, including site inspections, document reviews, and interviews with relevant parties.
Analyze architectural plans, specifications, and construction practices to identify potential defects and their causes.
Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations for remediation.
Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings, including depositions and court appearances.
Collaborate with other forensic experts, engineers, and legal professionals to develop case strategies.
Stay current with industry standards, building codes, and regulations related to construction and forensic architecture.
Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for forensic investigations within the company.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
Licensed Architect with a minimum of [X] years of experience in forensic architecture and construction defect analysis.
Strong knowledge of building codes, construction practices, and industry standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
