Job Type: Full-time (Onsite)

Shift Options: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM



About the Role:

In this role, you will provide high-quality care to individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders. As a counselor, you will guide patients through their journey to sobriety by delivering evidence-based treatment, offering personalized support, and fostering a positive environment for change.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient onboarding, including orientations on program policies and rights.


• Conduct clinical intakes, biopsychosocial assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans.


• Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions tailored to patient needs and goals.


• Monitor patient progress, document updates, and implement early interventions to prevent relapses.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and compliance with federal, state, and clinic regulations.


• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with all applicable guidelines.

Qualifications:

• 
  Counselor II ($21-$24/hour):
  




• Associate degree in a relevant field or completion of approved counseling certification courses.


• Current registration or certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor by a California-recognized organization.


• 2-5 years of counseling experience OR a master's degree in a relevant field.




• 
  Counselor III (Certified: $24-$27/hour, Licensed: $27-$30/hour):
  




• Licensed, license-eligible, or certified by a state-recognized regulatory or certification agency (e.g., BBS, Board of Psychology).


• Proven clinical expertise in managing complex cases.


• Documentation of licensure or certification required upon employment.
