Job Summary: The IT Assistant will provide technical support to students, faculty, staff, and administration by responding to issues that arrive at the Helpdesk via support tickets and walk-ins.   • Provide a high level of customer assistance.
  • Assign IT support tickets in a timely manner.
  • Respond to customer issues via ticketing system, phone, email, walk-ins, and any other form of contact.
  • Resolve basic end-user technology problems and Escalate issues and tickets to other teammates.
  • Document customer interactions.
  • Follow-up in a timely manner with customers to ensure issues are resolved.

    • A positive attitude is required.

    Student Status: Must be a current student attending Spartanburg Methodist College.Federal Work Study Eligibility: Must be eligible to receive Federal Work Study funds.
