Description:
The Lab Analyst will provide support for computer workstations associated with a diverse variety of Quality Control and Manufacturing instrumentation, including analytical and microbiological instruments, throughout their system lifecycles. In this role you will handle application configuration, troubleshooting, computer system validation activities, ensuring data integrity compliance, and administrative activities such as account management, date and time updates and database backups. This role will also provide technical support for continuous improvement projects, driving the projects to completion to support the ongoing activities within the laboratory and manufacturing environments.


QUALIFICATIONS:


The position requires BS engineering or science degree with 4+ years of experience or a MS engineering or science degree with 2+ years of experience or equivalent. The required experience is in the area of software / computer system support in regulated environments.


Experience also required: background in problem solving, negotiations, and project management/support in a matrixed reporting environment. Candidate must be willing to work with vendors and have excellent customer service skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


This position will provide system support for the computer systems associated with Quality Control and Manufacturing instrumentation laboratory instruments used for Quality Control testing in laboratories or within the manufacturing suite. This role includes the following responsibilities:


• Planning and coordinating the implementation of new applications and software upgrades.


• Participating in the validation of computer systems and associated instrumentation.


• Providing technical support and participating in the implementation of change controls and commitment action items.


• Providing technical support and supporting ongoing investigations.


• Proficient with Network Technologies such as Virtual Network (VLAN), Network Security Protocols and firewall technologies.


• Proficient at troubleshooting Microsoft Operating System and components such as windows registry and system files.


• Familiarity with server components/configuration


• Familiarization with virtualization systems such as VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V.


• Leading the User Account Management program, assigning user accounts to analysts as required.


• Provide operational technical support for Quality Control and Manufacturing computers supporting instrument systems in Production and Validation environments.


• Troubleshoot connectivity and reliability issues related to instrument systems.


• Ensure data integrity (DI) compliance for all GMP computer systems used with Quality Control and Manufacturing instrumentation.


• Provide technical input and active support for Investigations, Change Controls, Commitment Actions, and Decommissioning efforts related to instrument systems.


• Create virtual environments to support Data Restore testing functionalities during System Annual Periodic Reviews.


• Role will be expected to work Monday - Friday 1st shift. Weekends or off hours may be required as needed.
