Job Description:

Controller



We are assisting our client, a growing company in the finance and accounting sector, in their search for a Controller to oversee financial operations, reporting, and process improvements. This role is hands-on, managing accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance while working closely with leadership to drive financial strategy. This position will be onsite in the Essex County area of Massachusetts.



Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance


• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes


• Ensure accuracy in financial records and reporting


• Work with internal teams and external auditors to maintain compliance


• Assess and improve accounting processes and internal controls


• Support business decision-making with financial insights

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA is a plus)


• 5+ years of experience in finance leadership roles


• Experience with accounting software (NetSuite is a plus)
