Position Overview:
Elder Research, Inc. (ERI) is currently seeking a Client Engagement Manager (CEM) for our Commercial business unit. A Client Engagement Manager (CEM) will have the opportunity to develop and utilize leadership skills, build strong relationships internally and externally, intersect their passion for data and analytics to both project delivery and business strategy, and oversee the health and growth of their portfolio of clients.
A Client Engagement Manager (CEM) will drive technology and analytics delivery by (1) guiding and deploying technical team members, (2) managing all facets of project execution and high-quality delivery – in scope, on time, within budget, (3) managing client expectations and client satisfaction, and (4) overseeing contractual, financial, and resourcing data and information for the client and the ERI organization. Additionally, Client Engagement Manager (CEM) serve as a key support system for the internal project teams, fostering trusted communication and alignment across teams.

Be our Best: As leaders within the Commercial business unit (BU), CEMs help individuals and teams be their best by providing both people and team support across the Commercial Business Unit. This comes in many forms such as creating productive cross-functional teams in partnership with other BU leaders, informing resourcing, and contributing to Commercial team meeting facilitation.
Do our Best: CEMs help our client by driving quality projects in partnership with our project teams, as well as in working with the clients themselves. This can be done through successfully managing projects and programs, and supporting clients.
Increase Capacity: To support ERI business growth and maintenance, CEMs need to be thinking about building relationships with existing clients and developing new business with existing and new clients. This can be done through understanding clients through and between projects, drafting and securing contracts, and informing revenue plans.
Support each Other: We can each be our best selves if we support one another in our professional growth. Our industry is always changing, our company is often evolving, and, as humans, we can use all the help we can get! This can be done through learning continuously, sharing challenges, and contributing to best practices.

Experienced Consultants. Understand and appreciate both hard consulting skills (processes, lifecycles, project management, management and strategy consulting frameworks) and people skills (relationship building, engagement, trust, communication).
Technical. Experience in a subset of the following or related fields—engineering, software development, programming, data management and architecture, business intelligence, data mining, operations research, machine learning, analytics delivery.
Effective Listeners, Communicators, and Presenters. You know what to say, you know who you’re talking to, and you work hard to say it the right way. Ability to articulate to clients the value of data science, statistics, and machine learning to their business.
