Hospice Certified Nursing Assistants at Traditions Home Health Services in BILLERICA, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Traditions Home Health Services is currently seeking compassionate, skilled, reliable, and experienced Hospice trained Certified Nursing Assistants to assist with our client who is currently on Hospice who resides in the Billerica area.

Shifts available:
Overnights 10pm-7am

CNA Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily living activities, including toileting, incontinence care, bathing, dressing, grooming, nail care, oral hygiene, and skin integrity maintenance. CNA would document care and findings.
- Preparing healthy, fresh meals in accordance with the client's care plan, if required and ensuring adequate fluid intake throughout the shift and documenting client's intake.
- Adhering to infection control protocols.
- Monitor clients skin integrity, doing skin checks daily and documenting findings.
- Administering medication reminders and assisting with the application of eye drops, ointments, creams, and hospice medications
- Continuously monitor/assist client for all transfers and ambulation as client is a fall risk.
- Skilled in assisting with transfers, operating mechanical lifts, if required
- Proficient in dementia care.
- Proficient in hospice care
- Competently documenting shift activities digitally hourly using a smartphone
- Certified Nursing Assistant would report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner
- Certified Nursing Assistant would work with the Hospice agency and treat staff with respect and as colleagues.
