Our client is currently seeking a Senior RN Auditor - Litigation Support


Qualifications & Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in Nursing (associate degree from accredited nursing school with 4 or more years of additional clinical experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree)


Licensed Registered Nurse


Minimum of 3 years- clinical review experience with utilization management, case management, or health care claims auditing experience preferred


Certified Professional / Hospital Coder Certification (CPC, CIC, COC, CPMA, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA, RHIT) preferred or goal that certification be obtained within 12 months


Working knowledge and experience in detecting and investigating health insurance fraud, waste, and abuse preferred


Working knowledge with healthcare coding principles to include ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, RUGS, and DRG


Experience and knowledge of State and Federal healthcare regulations


Knowledge of Medicaid reimbursement and coverage policies desired


Proficient use of applicable software programs, including Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


Excellent communication skills including written and verbal. Ability to present to large or small groups required.


Ability to work independently under general instructions


Ability to work in a team environment


Self-directed and motivated, organized, attentive to detail


Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize assignments


Must be able to travel 25% based on client and business needs
