Salary: $35.00 USD Hourly - $55.00 USD Hourly

Description:
Role Overview: As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the completion of our monthly accounting cycle. This includes journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliation, and other tasks necessary for financial closure.


Responsibilities:

• Execute monthly accounting activities, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.


• Conduct thorough preparation, analysis, and review of general ledger account reconciliations as part of the month-end closing process.


• Carry out accounting and financial analyses to pinpoint key trends and support crucial estimates, such as accruals and reserves.


• Work cross-functionally and act as a business partner to assist in the preparation and reporting of financial results.


• Develop schedules to support reporting required for SEC disclosures.


• Implement, document, and support the design and operational effectiveness of SOX controls.


• Collaborate with both internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.


• Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to implement solutions that enhance process efficiency, standardization, system enhancements, and reporting capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics.


• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounting.


• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.


• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
