Dry Utilities Estimator - Hybrid Opportunity! Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Dry Utilities Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs and resources for dry utilities projects, particularly in the construction of data centers. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and utilities to ensure project efficiency and accuracy in budgeting.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for dry utilities projects including electrical systems and other utility infrastructures.
Analyze project drawings and specifications to identify all necessary materials and labor requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate estimation and project execution.
Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market conditions and pricing for utilities work.
Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid proposals and addressing any inquiries from clients or contractors.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an estimator with a focus on dry utilities and electrical systems.
Experience bidding dry utility projects for large commercial and mission critical projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials, particularly in data center projects.
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
