The Supervisor within Government Services leads a team that performs real-time analysis and review of extensive documentation required by federal regulations. The Supervisor must be a critical thinker who seeks input from their team and challenges the status quo. The Supervisor must also be comfortable communicating “the why” and assisting others with understanding program policies and procedures to solve problems and ensure program compliance. Additionally, the Supervisor will be accountable for team deliverables and timelines, offer feedback and delegate to Associates, and exhibit fierce career ownership.


Specific job duties include:


Training and Technical Assistance



  • Lead training and provide technical assistance to funded recipients

  • Effectively communicate eligible and ineligible expenses to potential recipients, internal partners, and the public at large

  • Review and approve policies and procedures manual and all amendments


Reporting Activities



  • Utilize technology to ensure funding transparency and accountability

  • Manage content updates for public transparency website

  • Review and finalize real-time status reports of funding


Oversight and Compliance



  • Manage day-to-day oversight and compliance activities for the program

  • Implement internal control framework to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse

  • Manage responses to state and federal oversight and monitoring activities


Candidates must possess the following:



  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Public Policy, Law, or a closely related field

  • Normally three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in public accounting, project management, or government consulting, demonstrating a progression in complexity and number of projects managed

  • Preference is given to candidates with a current and valid CPA license or PMP certification

  • Federal grant administration and compliance experience is a plus

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills


 Work Location & Travel Requirements:




  • Work Environment: This role is based onsite at Orange County Client office.



  • Travel Requirements: This position requires 20% travel. Travel frequency may vary based on business needs.



  • Flexibility: Candidates must be willing to (work occasional weekends, attend off-site meetings, etc.) as required.
