Position Overview: The Database Coordinator joins a team specializing in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, with a focus on gift processing and constituent data maintenance. The team values the intersection of data and development, and thus the Coordinator pays specific attention to collecting accurate and relevant donor information, while remaining focused and communicative under monthly deadlines.



Job Requirements - Qualified applicants must have:

• Experience entering data into databases, preferably Raiser's Edge 7.


• Experience querying data or Lists in Raiser's Edge NXT.


• Understanding of Financial data, online and third party transaction providers.


• Understanding of non-profit development and marketing needs.


• High levels of data-entry accuracy, despite repetitive nature of task.


• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.


• Clear customer service communication style via email or chat.


• Willingness to cross-train among teammates and learn new things.


• Ability to recall processes and procedures to expedite accurate data entry.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:



Operations

• Completes daily entry and mass upload of donations and donor information into RE 7, using Batch and ImportOmatic modules.


• Communicates with staff across the country to confirm donation codes.


• Completes scanning of incoming offline/check donations for historical records and remote entry.


• Completes audits to identify miscoded donations, makes updates as needed.


• Creates new fund, appeal, campaign and other financial codes as needed.


• Completes donation reclasses as requested.


• Creates import profiles for importing third party transaction batches.


• Assists staff in locating donors and donations.


• Merges constituent records, creates new records, appends/edits records with global changes.


• Assists Team in special projects, such as database integration, data mapping, SOP creation and staff training & data requests as needed, and as primary gift processing duties allow.


• Assist in printing and mailing of offline receipts and acknowledgement materials.


• Confirms matching gifts, pulls donor reports and researches as needed from third party websites.
