Job Description:

Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training center located in beautiful Callicoon NY. We are a Center who uses student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for each individual we serve. With a capacity of 208 students, we strive to achieve excellence for each student across 7 different trades.

We are looking for a exceptional temporary Administration Clerk. Although temporary, this position has potential to springboard into a full-time role with plenty of advancement opportunities.



Schedule: Monday through Friday 8a-5p




Clerk Responsibilities:

The Administration Clerk provides clerical support for departmental supervisors. This position is responsible for providing a variety of clerical duties that are related to the work of the supervisor, requiring knowledge of office routines and procedures. This individual will also interact with management on a day-to-day basis, handling confidential documents and materials. The clerk will be required to take on special projects as they arise and provide technical support to other departments as needed.



Qualifications




Qualifications & Experience Required of the Clerk:

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of clerical experience required.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills are a must.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Suite of applications is required.
• Must possess a valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements.
