Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a prestigious law firm in Georgia to find an experienced Litigation Paralegal. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects efficiently within a fast-paced legal environment. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare legal documents for court filings in state and federal courts in Georgia, ensuring they are court-ready.
Manage multiple projects with varying deadlines efficiently within a fast-paced legal setting.
Draft responses to discovery requests such as interrogatories, requests for production, and deposition notices.
Organize and manage large volumes of case-related documents for easy reference.
Assist the assigned attorney in managing schedules, deadlines, and case-related activities.
Assist in preparing for hearings, depositions, trials, and mediations by documenting and organizing necessary materials.
Save, file, and organize pleadings and motions on a daily basis for easy retrieval.
Maintain and prioritize relevant deadlines on a calendar for timely action.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in handling electronic filing requirements at state and federal courts in Georgia is essential.
Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
Skill in accurately forecasting and calendaring court filings and docket deadlines is required.
Strong ability to prioritize tasks, especially urgent ones, with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Self-directed and motivated, with the ability to work effectively under time constraints.
Proficiency in MS Office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat is necessary.
Demonstrated track record of consistently producing high-quality work products.
2-3 years litigation experience required.

Compensation:
Pay range is $23.00 - $25.00 per hour.
