Position: Senior Manager I, Product Management



Job Location: 702 SW 8th Street, Bentonville, AR 72716



Duties: Develop technical product specifications for the architecture of underlying platform components by using artifacts such as systems flows, product requirement documents and logical data models. Manage the evolution of a component of an ecommerce platform by collaborating with architects, services product managers and VP of Platform architecture to develop, maintain and evangelize the technical product roadmap associated to his/her area. Develop and champion a product strategy, and roadmap for a specific platform product area in support of architectural vision and principles established by the leadership by leveraging consumer insights, competitive analysis, and insights of emerging technologies to identify new product opportunities and enhancements. Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, architecture, user experience design, content strategy, program management, support) to build and evaluate business cases to support product investment decisions. Support product implementation and deployment by engaging with Engineering, Design and Program Managers during implementation to answer questions and make scope trade-off decisions. Work closely with services product managers to launch products on top of foundational components of the platform and ensure their adoption. Coordinate post-launch activities to validate that the product works as designed and that acceptance was successful. Manage development of training materials; train and support users on new product features; and define, track and improve key product metrics. Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; develop and communicate business plans and priorities. Responsible for design functions and feature that remove barriers and obstacles that could impact product performance; identify and measure progress against performance standards.



Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience in product management or related experience; OR Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in product management or related experience.



Skills required: Must have experience with: Presenting complex technologies, data science and data engineering concepts and principles in simple, concise, and clear business terms; Technology and product leadership of conceptualizing, incubating, and building multi-cloud solutions using products like Databases, Streaming, Hadoop, Spark, Large Scale Databases, Big Data, Machine Learning, Real Time analytics and Metadata Tools in the Private/Public cloud and edge environments; Building large-scale high available, resilient platform and data products leveraging private and public clouds; Deployment, re-training, feature enhancements and production support for new as well as existing products based on Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Deep Learning; Translating business questions into analytics techniques (regression classification, NLP, DL etc.) and interpret outcomes of analytical models into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations; Implementing healthcare data lake using interoperability standards including HL7, FHIR etc.; Navigating evolving healthcare regulatory landscape (e.g., HIPAA, 21st Century Cures Act) to design and build a health care security compliant data architecture; UNIX, SQL, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, ML Ops, DevOps, Python, AWS, GCP, Databricks and statistical package, such as R, SPSS, Stata; Business Intelligence and Visualization tools including Power BI, Looker, Tableau, Dataiku; Ensuring Data Science and Machine Learning models be part of business decision making processes and realize the true value of AI in health data utility; Building large-scale healthcare and wellness solution design and architecture; Data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources; Implementing complex, enterprise-wide data transformation aligning to organization wide data strategy, large-scale search/recommendation applications and building high volume data pipelines.
