Job Description:

Traditions Home Health Services is currently seeking compassionate, skilled, reliable, and experienced Home Health Aide for the Jamaica Plain area to assist with our client who is a Veteran.

Available Shifts:
- Mornings: Monday - Friday 9a-12p, the hours are not flexible.

HHA Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily living activities, incontinence care, catheter care, sponge bath, dressing, grooming, nail care, oral hygiene, and skin integrity maintenance; client is bedbound
- Monitoring vital signs, facilitating daily exercises according to the client's care plan, and performing range of motion exercises.
- Preparing healthy, fresh breakfast and snack in accordance with the client's care plan and ensuring adequate fluid intake throughout the shift.
- Adhering to infection control protocols.
- Administering medication reminders and assisting with the application of eye drops, ointments, creams, and ear drops.
- Conducting household support if needed, changing linens
- Engaging with your client in fun, stimulating conversation
- Skilled in assisting with transfers, operating mechanical lifts, and providing catheter care.
- Proficient in dementia care.
- Competently documenting shift activities digitally using a smartphone
- Home Health Aide would report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner
