KYDA Partners is working with a leading private homebuilder in the North Tampa market to expand their Project Management Team in pursuit of aggressive growth goals. We're seeking experienced professionals who can lead teams across Sales, Construction, and Warranty services, ensuring high-quality homebuilding operations from inception to completion.
This is a leadership position where the right individual will oversee the annual operating business plan for multiple communities; managing team development, construction quality, sales performance, and customer satisfaction. To ensure success, a proven structured training and mentoring program will be offered, including hands-on experience in sales, construction, leadership, and operational management.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the hiring, management, and development of Sales, Construction, and Warranty team members within assigned communities/subdivisions.
Ensure the construction team delivers high-quality homes built to company standards, on budget and on time.
Develop and execute detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, optimizing material procurement and labor allocation.
Conduct quality control inspections at various construction stages, ensuring compliance with building codes and internal quality standards.
Maintain strong customer relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring a smooth homebuying experience.
Oversee subcontractor management, ensuring work is completed on schedule and meets quality expectations.
Drive profitability by developing an Annual Operating Plan, monitoring budgets, and controlling expenditures.
Collaborate with developers, land departments, government agencies, and architectural review boards to streamline project execution.
Maintain a visible presence in the homebuilding industry, actively promoting communities and fostering key relationships.
Qualifications:
2+ years of leadership and project management experience, preferably in homebuilding.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Construction Management/Science, Engineering, Real Estate, or related fields preferred.
Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and industry best practices.
Ability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
Proven budgeting, financial management, and contract negotiation skills.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and resourcefulness.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and results-driven.
