Top law firm has an immediate opening for an Intellectual Property Litigator, specializing in Trademark Law, preferably having 4 or more years of experience.
The role will handle complex trademark cases, bringing significant litigation experience to a collaborative and client-centric team. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage trademark litigation matters, including infringement, dilution, and unfair competition cases, in federal and state courts, as well as before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).
Develop and execute case strategies, providing strategic counsel to clients on trademark enforcement and protection.
Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support litigation efforts and client objectives.
Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to deliver outstanding client service and achieve favorable outcomes.
Engage in business development activities, such as client relationship management and pitches (especially for Counsel or Junior Partner candidates).
Job Requirements
Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent from an accredited law school.
Experience: At least 4 years of significant trademark litigation experience, with a proven ability to manage complex cases independently and collaboratively.
Licensure: Admission to the North Carolina State Bar is preferred; candidates licensed in another jurisdiction must be eligible for admission or waiver into the NC Bar.
