The Buyer will be responsible for purchasing machinery, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, or services necessary for operations. This includes sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing procurement processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze market and delivery systems to assess current and future material availability.
Develop and implement purchasing and contract management policies and procedures.
Direct and coordinate personnel involved in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, and supplies.
Identify and evaluate vendors, negotiating contracts and terms of sales.
Ensure purchase orders and contracts comply with company policies.
Represent the company in supplier negotiations and policy formulation.
