Our client a Japanese automotive parts supplier is seeking a purchasing agent to join their team.

JOB DUTIES:

• Create purchase orders through the company's ERP system
• Procure and source materials & products for suppliers
• Perform cost analysis and maintain up to date records/documents
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and delivery terms
• Responsible for designated vendor accounts

Qualifications:

• 2-3+ years of purchasing and procurement experience
• Experience handling purchasing orders in ERP
• Experience with negotiating and cost analysis
• Advanced excel proficiency
