The Boeing Company is seeking a Site Manager to oversee F-15 flight simulator training services on a Long Term International Assignment to RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom for up to 3 years of assignment . Relocation and assignment benefits will be provided.
The Site Manager will lead a team of Boeing technicians and security supporting the F-15 Mission Training Center in the extremely dynamic environment of a front line operational US Air Force combat wing. This training center consists of a number of Distributed Mission Operations-Capable trainers, brief and debrief systems, network/computing systems, and the training system technical library.
This team of technicians and security will provide training system operations, customer support, repair, troubleshooting, alignment/calibration, logistics and upgrades/modifications. The Manager will train, develop, and motivate employees; will oversee and approve technical approaches, products, and processes. This leader will develop and execute plans, implement policies and procedures, set operational goals, track site metrics and purchase accounts, and maintain relationships and partnerships with the local instructor and military customers.
Due to the geographic isolation of the site and time zone differences, this manager will represent The Boeing Company to the USAF customer with minimal real-time oversight from Senior Management.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage a remote site team of device technicians supporting aircrew flight simulator training operations.
Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals.
Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements.
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manage, develop and motivate employees.
Coordinate activities with the local base leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Employment contingent upon successful background check.
Experience with USAF fighter tactical operations or maintenance
5+ years of experience managing or leading people or teams
Long-term Assignment details:
Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country.
Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.

Summary pay range: $113,050 - $152,950
