Role & Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer • Prepare detailed work instruction (MOT's), Set-up sheets and process plans. • Development and verification of machining process for complex fabrications, including work holding, fixtures, cutting tools, gages etc. • Supports all continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives. • Provides process improvement expertise and ability to Identify root cause of manufacturing/quality issues. • Perform drawing reviews for product manufacturability • Develop Routers and work instructions
Experience Required of the Manufacturing Engineer: • A relevant bachelor's degree with 3 - 5 Years of experience in Aerospace Sheet Metal Fabrication, Welding, Forming, Machining, and processing. • 2 + Years Development machining process for complex fabrications, including work holding, fixtures, cutting tools, gages etc. • 3+ years working with Equipment such as brake presses, CNC punching, laser cutting machines, Hydro form, CNC Lathes, CNC Mills and Weld. • CAD Software experience is required with CAD (Solidworks) and CAM (Mastercam) being a plus • Extensive aerospace manufacturing experience with highly complex designs and materials and OEM familiarity desired
