@Orchard LLC has been engaged to support a growing Federal Contractor satisfying an immediate requirement for a Computer Technician to work onsite at Fort Sam Houston. You will be responsible for providing IT service support to the MEDCoE G6 department with Information Technology and Information Management Services, as well as complimenting the current Government IT Specialist staff and Contract G6 technical staff with servicing and supporting additional devices and IT workload.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain the IT equipment and software; image, install, configure, troubleshoot, scan, and repair computer workstations, thin client workstations, personal digitals assistant (PDA) devices, printers, and current operating systems (WIN 10).
Load, configure, and troubleshoot software applications unique to the installation and/or customers
Perform administrative tasks in support of deployment services such as equipment documentation, inventory changes, customer contact updates, service issue processing, resolution of system troubles encountered with problems and deployment efforts, documentation of assessment, and timely closeout of service orders.
Report security violations and incidents in accordance with Section VIII, Incident and Intrusion Reporting. Remediate vulnerabilities associated with the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) program as required.
Ensures systems are maintained with current anti-virus (AV) engines and definitions on all Information Systems.
Submits, reviews, verifies currency and updates user profiles, accounts accesses and logins
Perform equipment custodian and accountability duties as necessary
Establish audit trails, conduct reviews and create archives as directed
Qualifications:
General Information Technology Fundamentals, use of MS office suite i.e. excel, word, Ppt. ability to configure IT assets; basic software install/un-install, basic use and knowledge of cloud services.
Ability to analyze and interpret basic IT data, using information to formulate reports and determine corrective actions.
COMPTIA Security+ certified with a degree in a relevant field or a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
CCNA Security; CySA+ are acceptable; GICSP; GSEC; Security+ CE; CND; SSCP are preferred.
Must be able to pass NACI
