Insight Global is seeking an In-House Counsel for one of our real estate development/building management clients based in Manchester, NH. Our client is both in residential and commercial real estate. This role will be onsite five days per week.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced In-House Counsel with a strong background in insurance law to join our legal team. The successful candidate will provide legal advice and support on a wide range of insurance-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and mitigating legal risks for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal counsel on insurance-related matters, including policy interpretation, claims handling, underwriting, and regulatory compliance.
Draft, review, and negotiate insurance contracts, policies, and agreements.
Advise on insurance claims and litigation, including managing external counsel and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with state and federal insurance laws and regulations.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in insurance law and regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures related to insurance.
Provide training and guidance to internal teams on insurance-related legal issues.
Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives and mitigate legal risks.
Represent the company in negotiations, mediations, and other dispute resolution processes.
Compensation:
$170,000 to $200,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
