Our client, a personal care company, is looking for a temporary Payroll Manager! This person will lead and oversee all payroll operations and transactions.
This assignment starts asap and will be ongoing with the potential to go perm down the line if the right fit.
Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Location: Brooklyn, NY
Responsibilities:
Develop, document and enforce payroll processes and policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Manage external PEO service providers
Support the training and development of the hourly employee time card submission and approval process
Support the monthly OPEX Headcount budget to actual analyses with FP&A team
Prepare payroll GL reconciliations monthly
Manage payroll tax returns
Support annual financial statement audit, annual 401k audit and workers comp audits
Review and recommend modifications to payroll systems and procedures
Manage the implementation of payroll system recommendations, modifications, or interfaces
Ad hoc tasks as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
6-8 years of Payroll experience
Experience with payroll software's
Microsoft Office Suite proficient, especially Excel
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail and highly organized
