Great opportunity to join a global industry leader as a Project Planning Manager! You will support and coordinate multiple retail merchandising projects, with a focus on project planning phases. This role involves project planning, scheduling, project coordination, inventory management, materials ordering, vendor relations, research, data analysis, customer relationship management, project issue resolution, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvement.
This is a 11-month contract(potential to extend or convert) in the Atlanta area.
This team follows a hybrid model:in-office 4 days/week (M-TH) & remote 1 day/week (F).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gather & collect info from field store partners for project creation
Auditi project readiness in an internal, web-based system
Work as a liaison between field & cross-functional partners to meet all project toll gates
Calculate how many items need to be ordered for projects
Place labor, outbound, & direct to store materials orders
Monitor inventory depletion & adjust orders, as necessary
Place re-orders for missing, damaged,or additional required materials
Provide process improvement suggestions for projects
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of experience as a PM, Project Coordinator, Project Analyst, or similar
Experience coordinating full lifecycle projects (NOT looking for IT projects)
Intermediate or advanced-level Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF)
Proven data analysis & data-driven recommendations experience
Process improvement experience
Experience interacting with cross-functional teams
