Job Description:

Join an innovative Camera Hardware Engineering team, where you will design, develop, and push the boundaries of camera hardware for company products. The mission is to deliver cutting-edge camera technology, ensuring an exceptional user experience. We're seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to tackle tomorrow's engineering challenges.

This is slated as a 1-year contract with strong potential for extension/conversion.

Responsibilities:
  • Model and analyze camera sub-system Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) performance.
  • Develop Python scripts to automate Ansys simulation tools for streamlined workflows.
  • Support senior team members in design characterization, validation, and result correlation.
  • Collaborate with system teams to establish high-speed channel and power delivery network budgets for seamless camera feature integration.
  • Conduct design feasibility studies and explore emerging technologies for future innovations.

Qualifications:
  • Academic or industry experience in camera technology, SI/PI concepts, or electromagnetic theory.
  • Hands-on experience with substrate, package, or flex/board-level SI/PI simulations.
  • Strong understanding of high-speed signal transmission and power distribution fundamentals.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as HFSS, SI-Wave/PSI, Q3D, CST, and ADS.
  • Familiarity with VNA/TDR or oscilloscope operation in academic or professional environments.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and skilled in critical thinking.

Skills:
  • Knowledge of substrate/package material properties and selection criteria.
  • Academic or practical experience with image sensors or camera modules.
  • Proficiency with JMP for statistical data analysis.
  • Expertise in Python scripting to automate simulation setups.

Education:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industrial experience
