The Engineering Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing engineering activities to meet company objectives related to product design, new product development, and improvements to existing product lines. This role requires a hands-on approach, working both individually and through subordinates to drive innovation and efficiency.

Required Education and Experience
Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
At least three (3) to five (5) years of experience managing an engineering department.
Desired Education and Experience
Additional training in an engineering discipline.
Seven (7) years of experience managing an engineering department.
Essential Functions

Oversee and manage the Engineering Staff.
Direct engineering aspects of key accounts.
Develop and implement Quality and Environmental Management System (QEMS) procedures within the engineering department.
Foster organizational and leadership skills among Engineering Staff.
Actively participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) launches.
Assist with quoting activities, including secondary operations and design reviews.
Develop department timelines and coordinate teamwork activities.
Fulfill additional responsibilities as designated by the VP/GM - MP&M.
Undertake other duties as delegated by management and senior staff.

Work Environment
This position is primarily based in an office setting with some exposure to the production/manufacturing environment.
