The Vice President, Holy Family Memorial Hospital (HFMH) and Northeast Medical Group (NEMG) is responsible for the planning, development, strategy and oversight of operations. This includes the development of new facilities, services and business relationships in the northeast regional area of Froedtert ThedaCare Health Inc. The VP will ensure that the delivery of patient and healthcare services are aligned with the values, strategic goals, and guidelines of the Froedtert ThedaCare Health system.
The Vice President will work closely with the local leadership team, Froedtert ThedaCare health system service line leadership and medical group physician dyad partner in advancing the system strategy including the market physician strategy. Will also partner system services including compliance/risk, facility services, marketing/public relations, human resources and the diversity office to drive ongoing integration in the region.
Provides operational and financial leadership ensuring operational standardization and optimization within the local facilities while delivering on agreed upon metrics and targets.
Develops an organizational culture that is values driven by and promotes connectivity and collaboration with the Froedtert ThedaCare system
Accountable for the strategic planning, clinical excellence, people management, fiscal targets, operational effectiveness, and cultivation of positive relationships with providers and key stakeholders.
Ensures that clinical support services are coordinated across team members, functions, and processes to improve patient care and clinical outcomes
Will serve on the HFMH board of directors and is an executive officer of the organization and its subsidiaries & affiliates acting on behalf of the HFMH board of directors, keeping with the policies adopted by the board of Froedtert ThedaCare Health
The Vice President will serve on the appropriate boards or management committees of corporate affiliates and is expected to become part of the community.
Education/Certification
An advanced degree is required in health care administration, business administration, nursing, or equivalent educational experience.
Knowledge and Work Experience
Minimum of 10 years progressively responsible, successful leadership experience in health care management and operations, with at least five years in a senior-level executive role required.
Strategic thinker with the ability to continuously study trends and forces driving change in the health care environment and synthesize substantial amounts of information determining what forces will drive organizational change in the future.
Highly analytical and innovative problem solver possessing strong multi-tasking, organizational, and project planning skills, and demonstrating ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
Ability to organize the expertise and resources needed to drive strategic planning. Skilled in applying techniques such as scenario planning, risk analysis, and assessment of opportunity costs to set optimal strategic direction.
Advanced group facilitation skills appropriate for executive level participants resulting in significant enterprise decisions and impacts.
A self-confident, proactive, decisive leader with the people skills to achieve
