The ideal candidate will work on projects from budgeting through execution and closeout. You will work with, and take direction from, RTD senior management and interface with clients.
Responsibilities
Review and track construction progress
Provide status reports
Review and track RFIs and logs
Review and track submittals and logs
Assist in the creation of punch-lists
Take and distribute meeting minutes
Assist in performing constructability reviews
Assist with project start-up and scheduling
Project administration, coordination, and close-out
Coordinate client staff relocations for tenant improvement projects
Assist with construction estimating
Assist with review and negotiation of change order requests.
Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with the client, A/E team, inspectors, client representatives, etc.
Promote customer relations
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field plus a minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction Management
Strong organizational and project management skills
Industry knowledge and ability to interpret and understand Contract Documents
Detail-oriented and strong oral and written communication skills
Computer skills and strong experience working with Microsoft Office
Knowledge of scheduling software including MS Project
Proficient using Project Management software including Procore
Knowledge of commercial construction and design
Ability to work a flexible schedule on site including nights
