Overview:
We are looking for a Supplier Management Engineer who will assist with functions and activities of Supplier Quality Management Steering Team (SQM-ST).
Duties:
Assist with managing the work process for the SQM Steering Team and assist plants/regions in execution of their SQM work processes.
Help improve SQM Tool based on feedback from RBUs and SQM-ST.
Assist with content development and training of RBU personnel on SQM Tool and process as needed.
Help establish contact and working relationship with key stakeholders within supplier organizations.
Help setup and facilitate reviews with key supplier leadership teams as needed.
Develop and implement supplier scorecard evaluation process with SQM-ST.
Participate in NCR reviews for all segments.
Assist in providing feedback on key suppliers to LE Procurement and GFA owners.
Assist in resolving significant failures of assets/equipment from key suppliers in a diligent and methodical manner and contribute to incident Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process.
Assist in LG Critical Vendor List update process.
Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering or Business Administration or comparable.
3+ years of business experience in a supplier facing Engineering or Procurement role.
Proficiency in using IT applications (e.g. SAP, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Tableau, MS SharePoint, MS Flow, MS Power Query/PowerPivot).
Experience in supply chain risk analysis or due diligence is a benefit.
Strong communication skills, team player spirit, self-driven and highly motivated; have a sense of cultural differences.
Fluent in English, foreign languages are a benefit.
