We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager to join our Managed Service Provider (MSP) team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing technical projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. You will manage resources, coordinate with clients, and ensure project deliverables align with business objectives and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple technical projects for clients, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
Work closely with IT engineers, network administrators, and cybersecurity teams to implement technical solutions.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and risk assessments to ensure successful project completion.
Oversee cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, cybersecurity implementations, and system integrations.
Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Manage change requests and ensure adherence to project governance and compliance standards.
Conduct regular status meetings, generate reports, and provide project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Utilize project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project to track progress and deliverables.
Implement best practices in ITIL, Agile, and PMP methodologies to optimize project efficiency.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience (3+ years) as a Project Manager in an MSP, IT Services, or Technical Consulting environment.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity concepts.
Experience managing technical projects such as Office 365 deployments, Azure/AWS cloud migrations, firewall configurations, and VoIP implementations.
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, Agile, Scrum, and PMP methodologies.
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, MS Project).
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate technical requirements into business objectives for clients.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile Scrum Master are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools.
Background in IT engineering or system administration.
Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements such as GDPR, NIST, or SOC 2.
