Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management Mastermind: Oversee inventory across multiple locations, ensuring efficient movement, allocation, and transfers between distribution centers.
Inbound Shipment Guru: Manage inbound shipments, maintaining compliance with company protocols. Collaborate with logistics and planning teams to prioritize receipts and ensure timely, accurate receiving.
Data Integrity Champion: Develop and maintain a cycle count program for accurate inventory records, making necessary adjustments to ensure data integrity.
Quality Assurance Advocate: Provide guidance and support on quality assurance across departments, resolving quality-related concerns with relevant stakeholders.
Metrics & Reporting Powerhouse: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track warehouse performance. Generate weekly reports highlighting areas for improvement and increased efficiency.
Cost Control Expert: Analyze and report on department expenses, identifying and recommending cost-saving measures in areas like labor, temporary workers, overtime, and packaging.
Collaborative Problem Solver: Work closely with department managers to find opportunities for improvement and develop sustainable solutions. Foster a collaborative spirit to drive continuous improvement.
Training & Development Leader: Develop standardized procedures and create a comprehensive training manual. Oversee recruitment, hiring, and the development of a trainer to onboard and train new hires.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse management.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and data analysis tools.
