Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Hybrid Data Engineer to join our team in a role that combines 60% data engineering, 20% development, and 20% data science expertise. In this position, you'll play a pivotal role in empowering our teams and clients by managing data warehouses and delivering tailored, high-performance ETL solutions. You'll collaborate closely with our Strategic Analytics team, which includes a dedicated full-time data scientist and is led by a hybrid developer/data scientist. Successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of analytical solutions utilizing a variety of software systems and coding languages, including Python, cloud services (Google and/or Azure), and Microsoft Excel.
Primary job duties and responsibilities will include:
Utilize applicable coding language, to design replicable and unique data solutions.
Establish data protocol to determine validity and integrity.
Manage and maintain cloud data throughout organization and for clients.
Work independently and with various internal and external project teams.
Conduct research on data techniques and successfully integrate results.
Present vetted solutions to internal and external clients.
Support all other project work, as directed.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Prior experience in data engineering with preference for large data management.
Problem solving and data analytical capabilities.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
Must be proficient in English language and ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written, and visual graphic skills.
Professional certifications in applicable areas considered a plus.
Preference for experience with SQL, Python, and/or JavaScript (including Office JavaScript).
Experience with other coding languages/platforms for advanced analytics are also desirable (Linux, Bash, PowerShell, Java).
Experience with API's and webscraping is considered a plus.
Some design and developer experience in creating user-facing interfaces, dashboards, and/or data solutions is considered a plus.

Base Compensation Range: $90,000-$125,000
