Job Description
We are looking for a Division President for our customer who provides system design, engineering, and construction to major cable, telecommunication, MSO, and utility companies. You will be responsible for the entity's day-to-day operating activities, including revenue and sales growth; expenses, cost and margin control; and monthly, quarterly and annual financial goal management. You will direct, supervise and coordinate the overall business operations of the entity to drive business growth and strategic objectives, while uphold rigorous safety standards. This position is crucial to achieving our company's goals and enhancing our industry leadership.
Job Requirements: • Direct entity operations to meet budget and other financial goals • Direct short-term and long-range planning and budget development to support strategic business goals • Establish the performance goals, allocate resources, and assess policies for entity • Demonstrate successful execution of business strategies for entity products and services • Direct and participate in acquisition and growth activities to support overall business objectives and plans • Develop, establish, and direct execution of operating policies to support overall company policies and objectives. • Establish and maintain an effective system of communications throughout the entity and organization • Represents the organization with major customers, shareholders, and the public • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality • Mentor and develop staff using a balanced leadership approach • Bid review, sign off and approvals as necessary
Strategic Vision and Financial Oversight: • Define and execute the company's strategic vision and long-term goals to drive growth and enhance market position • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet organizational goals while supplying expertise and guidance on projects, operations, and systems • Develop and oversee entity budgets, forecasts, and financial reports • Ensure that operating costs do not exceed the proposed budget • Conducts or acquires cost analysis for development projects; prepares or delegates preparation of schedule of project completion dates • Introduce cost-saving strategies and efficiency enhancements to boost profitability
Team Development and Management: • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of project managers, managers, and administrative staff • Establish clear performance expectations, deliver regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations • Promote a positive and collaborative workplace that emphasizes teamwork, safety, and professional growth
Operations: • Oversee all entity operations, including project management, resource allocation, and quality control, ensuring efficiency and excellence. • Safeguard projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet company standards and industry regulations. • Enforce safety and quality protocols to minimize risks and ensure compliance with company, OSHA, and client standards, as well as adherence to manufacturer specifications for all projects. • Maintain exceptional standards of workmanship and quality control across all projects. • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to stay current. • Identify growth opportunities and create strategic plans to expand market share and boost revenue. • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to design promotional campaigns, generate leads, and acquire new business
