We are seeking AWS DevOps Engineers who can take ownership of cloud infrastructure projects, build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing Kubernetes environments, automating infrastructure, and implementing DevOps best practices. You will work with modern tools such as GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Helm, Terraform, Datadog, and HashiCorp Vault while supporting and improving our AWS-based cloud infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex deployment strategies, optimize system performance, and ensure high availability across cloud services. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes

·        Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, leveraging Amazon Controller for Kubernetes (ACK) and Service Mesh technologies to support microservices architectures.

·        Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Helm and Argo Rollouts for reliable, zero-downtime deployments.

·        Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, ensuring consistency and scalability.

·        Implement observability solutions using Datadog for proactive system monitoring, incident response, and cost optimization.

·        Manage application secrets and sensitive data using HashiCorp Vault, ensuring secure deployment pipelines and compliance with security best practices.

·        Integrate CodeClimate for continuous code quality tracking and collaborate with development teams to uphold high standards.

·        Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues, collaborating with development teams to ensure operational stability and performance.

·        Continuously evaluate and improve deployment, monitoring, and automation processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

·        3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related IT roles, with a strong focus on AWS.

·        Solid experience managing Kubernetes environments, including deployment, scaling, and securing clusters, with exposure to Amazon Controller for Kubernetes (ACK) and Service Mesh solutions.

·        Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or similar languages for automation.

·        Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP) and security best practices.

·        Experience with progressive deployment strategies (blue-green, canary deployments).

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:

·        Experience working with Federal agencies is a plus.

·        Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).

·        Knowledge of cost-optimization strategies for cloud environments.

·        Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

·        Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems design.

·        AWS Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional

EDUCATION:

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

CLEARANCE: 

·        Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
