Job Description:

The Turret Press Operator will:
Perform duties to operate brake press to produce parts in accordance with job specifications and established quality standards. Assigned jobs involve producing more complex and intricate parts. Alsorequired to perform other tasks, as assigned by his or her supervisor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Obtain supplies, position work and follow verbal or written instructionsOperate brake pressMaintain machine so it operates at full capacityObtain first piece inspection approvalFollow complex process sheetsRead and interpret blueprintsRead scales and calipers accuratelyComplete tasks as directed with minimum supervisionEnsure work is done safely and meets quality standardsProvide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
Other Duties:
Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to supervisorPerform other duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this positionKeep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilitiesDesire to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethicFollow all company rules and policies

This position is 2nd Shift - Work Schedule: Monday through Friday - Hours: 4:00pm to 12:30am
