The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and expanding business in the western US with electrical contractors, distributors, manufacturing, and industrial customers. This is a remote role that entails 60% business travel. The Business Development Manager will be primarily responsible for all new customers in the western United States. The ideal candidate for this role would reside in CA, NV, OR, WA, ID or AZ.
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.Conducting research to identify new customer needs and improve sales.Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.Working with the marketing team to help develop specific marketing strategies that drive businessScheduling and planning of customer site visits. Drive new business by seeking out opportunities with new and existing customers, close on customer orders. Gather and provide competitor feedback Establishes and maintains customer relationships to generate profitable sales. Monitors support teams to ensure orders are executed as agreedTracks and reports proactive activity monthly
