Job Summary

The Manager, Creative is responsible for managing the creative team in strategic campaign development and leveraging creative expertise to win new business and grow accounts. This role involves developing innovative creative strategies and collaborating with our vendor partners to ensure successful video and multi-screen execution. It is a working manager (player / coach) position in a fast paced, sales- driven organization. The ideal candidate demonstrates a high level of business acumen, sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and leadership skills. They must also be confident in communication and presentations to internal and external clients.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities


  • Represent Major Accounts: Responsible for representing the creative team for company's largest accounts, agencies, and business partners.


  • Foster Collaboration: Works closely with senior creative leadership, sales leadership, and partner departments to strategize business growth and opportunities.


  • Lead Creative Campaigns: Lead the creative team in developing effective, innovative, and award-winning multi-platform campaigns while understanding the environment and needs of a sales organization.


  • Provide Leadership: Provide motivation, coaching, direction, accountability, and steady leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.


  • Storytelling: Confident in storytelling, engaging in client-facing and partner presentations, and leading team in achieving revenue goals by selling the value of creative.


  • Execute Strategies: Execute strategies and financial goals established by senior leadership.


  • Maintain Professional Communication: Maintain a positive attitude with professional communication.


  • Ensure Compliance: Accountable for managing and compliance with all legal requirements and contracts.


  • Advise and Upskill Team: Advise and upskill team members in all phases of the creative process: client discovery, creative strategy, budgeting, and execution.


  • Oversee Recruitment: Participate in the recruitment and hiring of internal staff.


  • Ensure Tool Consistency: Ensure consistent and proper team use of internal CRM, project management tools, and approved AI capabilities.


  • Resolve Issues: Intellectually anticipate potential issues and actively resolve problems that may arise.


  • Stay Updated on Trends: Stay abreast of creative trends and implement them with the team as appropriate.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience in a creative role, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand strategy, marketing messaging, and creative direction on local and regional levels.

  • Experience managing and mentoring high-performing creative teams

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with experience translating business objectives into impactful creative strategies.

  • Ability to balance creative excellence with business goals and objectives, ensuring creative campaign performance while consistently meeting business objectives.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in an advertising setting

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $95,954.04 - $143,931.06

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.

Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
