Responsibilities:
Perform final component installation, system validation testing, and troubleshooting for aircraft before delivery.
Conduct inspections of flight test installations and functional testing of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems.
Identify and document mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults, ensuring proper repairs.
Execute pre-flight and post-flight checks, maintenance, modifications, and rework.
Verify the accuracy and quality of completed work, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Assist with system and subsystem pre-delivery inspections to prepare aircraft for handover.
Plan and schedule tasks independently with guidance from leads, with work reviewed for compliance and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience: High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Requirements: Must be willing and able to work any shift, including days, nights, and weekends.
Certification: FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or equivalent experience to obtain an FAA Repairman's Certificate.
Experience:
1+ years in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing.
1+ years of avionics and/or electrical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
787 Program experience.
Experience working in a team environment with formal or informal team leadership responsibilities.
Airline, MRO, or Overhaul experience.
Familiarity with computing and operating systems.
A&P license preferred.
