Job Description:

SERVICE SUPPORT SPECIALIST



Service Support Specialist interacts with customers and sales teams regarding orders and shipments, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Provide high-quality customer service by managing inquiries, investigating issues, and responding to customer needs. Handle customer and sales staff requests related to orders, shipments, product details, inventory availability, complaints, and custom stocking programs.



SERVICE SUPPORT SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES




Customer Service & Communication



• Provide backup support for customer service teams and administrative roles.


• Follow the 2-hour call-back policy for internal and external inquiries.


• Document and escalate complaints regarding personnel or products to the Customer Service Manager.


• Assist with new customer engagement by conducting Thank You Survey calls.



Operational & Reporting Support



• Assist the Operations Team with monthly metric reporting and data entry into ISO logs and spreadsheets.


• Prepare and update key reports, including:


o On-Time Shipments Report (monthly)


o Accuracy Reporting (monthly)


o Customer-Generated Report Cards (as needed)


o Expedite Log (monthly)


• Manage the CON/Transfer process and repacks/relabels within the P21 system for public warehouse shipments.



SERVICE SUPPORT SPECIALIST REQUIREMENTS




Qualifications



• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience (industry-related experience preferred).


• High level of integrity, professionalism, and a positive attitude.



Skills & Abilities



• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher).


• Ability to read, interpret, and apply instructions from manuals and documents.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with various audiences.


• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals).
