A well-established manufacturing and distribution company is seeking a BI Developer to join its growing team. This role is critical in designing and developing enterprise-level business intelligence and data warehousing solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to transform business requirements into actionable data models, reports, and dashboards-while also building and managing the underlying databases and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate business needs into scalable BI and data solutions
Design, build, and deploy reports, dashboards, and data models using Power BI
Develop, manage, and optimize SQL databases (SQL Server 2019/2022 required)
Build and maintain data warehouses and support ETL processes
Troubleshoot and enhance existing BI systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and improve data flow
Execute complex queries and perform in-depth data analysis
Create interactive, user-friendly dashboards with clear visualizations
Develop complete SSIS packages and manage ETL pipelines
Document processes and collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts
Must-Have Skills:
Power BI development and dashboard/report creation
SQL Server 2019 or 2022 proficiency (designing, querying, performance tuning)
Hands-on experience developing data warehouses and databases
Strong ETL/SSIS experience
Solid understanding of data modeling and business intelligence best practices
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
