Job Summary:

Leading men's basics brand is seeking a highly analytical Senior Analyst to join the FP&A team and oversee the forecasting for our DTC channels (Amazon 3P (FBA) and .com business). This role will be responsible for analyzing sales trends, managing inventory levels, and collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders on our product development, digital, operations, and business intelligence teams to ensure we meet channel demand and balance inventory across our assortment. The ideal candidate has experience in demand planning, e-Commerce analytics (Shopify and Seller Central), Amazon Global Logistics, and 3PL/FC transfers for a CPG brand.

Job Responsibilities:

Forecasting & Planning
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts for Amazon and Shopify, leveraging historical data, category trends, promotional activations, and our product roadmap.
  • Monitor Amazon 3P (FBA) sell-through rates, lead times, and replenishment (inbound) cycles to optimize inventory availability, preventing overstock or prolonged stockouts.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to align forecasts with revenue targets and strategic objectives.

Amazon Operations & Supply Chain Management
  • Work closely with our Amazon agency to ensure proper forecasting, plan replenishment, and compliance with Amazon's fulfillment policies.
  • Manage the flow of inventory into FBA and DTC FCs - especially during periods of peak seasonality or promotional activity (e.g., Prime Day, Black Friday).
  • Track Amazon's Inventory Performance Index (IPI) score to minimize Amazon storage fees.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work with the operations team to manage supplier lead times, POs, and inbounds.
  • Partner with planning and wholesale channel teams to balance inventory between DTC FCs and FBA, shifting units when necessary.
  • Work with stakeholders on the digital team to recommend short-term pricing and promotional strategy to balance inventory and sales.

Data Analysis & Process Improvement
  • Build and manage dashboards to track key metrics such as forecast accuracy, sales velocity, inventory turns, and stock.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to continuously improve forecasts.
  • Research and implement best practices for demand planning, including automation and AI-driven forecasting tools.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • 3-5 years of experience in forecasting and analysis, demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain management within a CPG environment - preferably in apparel or an adjacent category.
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and AGL.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel - PowerBI and/or other BI tools are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to independently own a process from end-to-end.
  • Demonstrable quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to parse through and synthesize data from multiple sources in order to make recommendations.

Our office is set up to accommodate a hybrid work environment, and in this role, you can typically expect to be in the office Tuesday - Thursday each week.
