We are searching for a General Manager for Springhill Suites by Marriott Richmond North/Glen Allen. General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations, including guest services, staff management, financial performance, and ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hotel management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for hospitality. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
-Oversee daily operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest services.
Guest Experience:
- Ensure outstanding guest satisfaction by addressing and resolving guest concerns promptly.
- Foster a culture of hospitality and excellence among staff.
- Implement and monitor guest feedback systems to continuously improve service.
Financial Management:
- Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve profitability.
- Oversee pricing, sales, and marketing strategies to attract and retain guests.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage hotel staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Sales and Marketing:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing strategies.
- Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other stakeholders to drive business.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure the hotel complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain security protocols to protect guests, staff, and property.
- Oversee emergency procedures and safety training for staff.
