Essential Functions




About the Role - Provide analysis and assistance in planning, organizing, and deliver initiatives that impact or enhance the company's operational efficiency and strategic objectives.


  • Monitor departmental schedules to ensure projects are completed on or before projected deadlines.

  • Collect and analyze data, including financial and performance indicators, to resolve problems and address issues affecting the department.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Lead and support planning and organizing strategic projects and initiatives that impact multiple stakeholders across the organization.

  • Develop and maintain project management processes, tools, and techniques to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Provide insights and solutions through the analysis of financial, operational, and performance data to address issues and drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with department leadership to define project scopes, set priorities, and allocate resources effectively.

  • Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure projects align with strategic objectives and business goals.

  • Communicate project updates to stakeholders, including senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams.

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

  • Serve as a liaison between departments to promote cross-functional collaboration and alignment.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in project management in the IT space with an understanding of Agile frameworks

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to provide updates and presentations.

  • Ability to lead independently and not rely on checklists or step-by-step guidance

  • Ability and willingness to work in ambiguous and fast-paced environments

  • Business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa

  • Experience working with and influencing teams to drive strategic outcomes

  • Analytical, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and project management software tools

  • Ability to travel up to 25% as required.

  • Experience in project management, product development, systems design/development, or business/financial planning and analysis.

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing, implementing, and maintaining operational systems and processes.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills.

  • Effective human relations, leadership, and communication abilities.

  • Familiarity with the transportation and logistics industry is preferred but not required.


Minimum Education



Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, finance, computer science or directly related discipline.



Minimum Experience



Four (4) years exempt experience in project management, product development, systems design/development or business / financial planning and analysis. Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining systems. Experience in use of project management/planning software. Demonstrated analytical, organizational and planning skills. Strong human relations, leadership, and communication skills.



Domicile Information



This position can be domiciled in Memphis, TN, Pittsburgh, PA and Plano, TX. Preference is to be hybrid in these locations.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement



Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $6,168.90/month - $10,898.39/month
