This position blends project management expertise and technical capability. The successful candidate will ensure customer deliverables, development and installation of controls and automation programs and achieving required certifications for client projects. This position reports to the Industrial Division Manager.

Management Requirements:
This position requires the ability to work with minimal supervision.
It requires the ability to set tasks and communicate milestones to both the TTS Project Manager (TTS PM) and in the TTS PM absence, the client.
It requires the ability to supervise and direct field technicians in the TTS PM absence.
The position requires an ability to work peer to peer with the Project Manager to achieve the client goals.
Travel to clients' locations with the TTS PM to understand the client's process.
Meet with clients to discuss their mechanical or electrical automation needs.
Manage and mentor all Industrial Programmers.
Technical Requirements
Develop and install machine programs using automation software and custom coding languages.
Write an initial sequence of operation.
Coordinate with the TTS PM, the test criteria before the final installation.
Testing efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Troubleshoot system errors.
Overseeing the successful installation of PLC programs.
Documenting the final Sequence of Operation.
Providing clients with technical support.
Certifications Requirements:
It is the responsibility of the Senior Programmer to achieve any PLC, HMI, Robot, VFD or Safety certification that all Thermo-Trol client's projects requires.
Ignition Gold level certification
FANUC Robot Certifications
Rockwell PLC and HMI Certifications
Siemens PLC and HMI Certifications
Schneider PLC and HMI Certifications
VTSCADA Certifications
VFD Certifications as required (Rockwell, DanFoss, Schneider etc.)
Safety Certifications as required.
SQL Certifications as required.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma.
· Five years' experience in Industrial Automation and Controls.
· A college degree is desired, but not required.
